Are you eligible for the out-of-court mechanism?

What the out-of-court mechanism is

The out-of-court mechanism is a digital, out-of-court procedure for settling debts owed to banks and funds, the tax authority and social security funds in one go. The goal is a single sustainable settlement instead of multiple fragmented agreements.

Depending on the case, it can include a write-off of part of the debt (principal, interest, surcharges), repayment over many instalments and suspension of enforcement measures.

Success depends decisively on how the file is prepared and negotiated. In practice, the same debtor profile can receive very different proposals depending on how the case is presented.
